From the West Virginia Physical Therapy Practice Act Website:

What CEU Courses are Allowed in West Virginia?

In order to qualify towards your license renewal, all 24 CEUs must come from a provider which the Board approves. The easiest way to ensure smooth renewal is to look for CEUs sponsored by APTA, WVPTA, or any CAPTE-accredited school. The West Virginia Board of Physical Therapy has uploaded a list of approved courses for 2023 on CEU Locker.

If your CEUs don’t meet this criteria, you may be able to still apply them to your license renewal. In order to do so, however, you must first seek the Board’s approval. Fill out this form to start the CEU-approval process.

You can review all the Board’s continuing education requirements through this link. But if you’re still unsure whether a course or activity qualifies for continuing education, simply contact the Board.
